Per chi pensa che sia tutto fatto al computer, qui c’e’ un making off.  Si tratta di animazione in stop motion basata su ritagli di carta, chiamata paper animation o cutout animation.

La fotocamera digitale (Nikon D90) è collegata al computer che mostra il frame precedente in trasparenza (tecnica buccia di cipolla, onion skin) in modo da regolare finemente la posizione degli oggetti nel nuovo frame (il software usato è Dragon Stop Motion http://www.dragonstopmotion.com/ , un post nel blog dedicato al software parla del lavoro per il gruppo Fleet Foxeshttp://www.dragonstopmotion.com/blog/?p=20 ). Il computer mostra anche la composizione generale quando diversi elementi sono fotografati individualmente e sovrapposti.

Jen Stark is an american artist that moved to paris to study art. As she doesn’t take with her her materials and found art tools shops very expensive in paris, she desided to by the cheapest tool: paper.
